Community Stories

Rob,

This is incredible! From the flow of the story, to the music and titles used, to the comments from members and videos used.... it’s brilliant! You've managed to capture the essence of the men’s shed and the purpose of this group perfectly, it’s hard not to be emotional when you see the impact it has on members.

Kim (Team Leader Community Development, City of Tea Tree Gully)

Rob! This is absolutely brilliant!

I shed a few tears… you have captured their story so well, the passion, emotion and sense of belonging is evident in your documentary, well done, I couldn’t be happier, and can’t wait for the CEO and Director to see this Tuesday.

Loved the children running along with their boats in the background, and Val with her fruit bowl and banana. Good on you for going out and filming the Modbury Hospital bench chairs, the pirate ship and the pageant, it really does demonstrate just how much the men are involved with community events and projects.

I can’t thank you enough, and to have this to play at the next Men’s shed conference we attend….Gold

Jackie (Community Development Officer, City of Tea Tree Gully)

These are all about people telling personal stories from the heart about their involvement in community initiatives and community life and what it means to them.

Community Stories videos are also popular & effective for reporting outcomes of community initiatives to funding bodies.
